Peter says he'll play along with Marylin so Jack will see how fickle she is, and Jean can win Jack back. The plan works, except Jean doesn't want Jack, she wants Peter, and gets him in the end. And: "Love Is the Prize" with art by Tewks - Ronnie wins a singing contest in her hometown and moves to New York to take singing lessons from Paul. She leaves behind her boyfriend Mike. When Paul says he's attracted to her, Ronnie explains about Mike and Paul accepts this. However, Mike arrives unexpectedly and mistakenly thinks Ronnie loves Paul; he breaks their engagement and leaves. Ronnie realizes Paul is the one she loves after all.
