This item is not in stock at MyComicShop. If you use the "Add to want list" tab to add this issue to your want list, we will email you when it becomes available.
JUGGLING CLOWN EDITION - Circa 1932 and later editions have Toasted Corn Flakes "Juggling Clown" advert on back cover (paragraph below clown begins with "It's a toss-up"). New cover art. Interior layout is very similar to the earlier editions, but the art style inside matches the cover art and the characters and accompanying text have changed. NOTE: Versions with the "Juggling Clown" ad will still vary.
Kellogg's Funny Jungleland Moving-Pictures is the 1st cereal premium ever produced. It was originally given to customers in the stores by merchants at the time of purchase of Kellogg's Toasted Corn Flakes; later that year it became a mail-offer premium costing 10ยข.
This popular premium ran all the way to 1937 with numerous edition changes. Versions cannot be narrowed down to dates, as most appear to have only the original 1909 copyright date with some exceptions like the 1932 editions.
This historical pictorial booklet for children advertises Kellogg's Toasted Corn Flakes. It has a tri-fold outer cover, with two interior pages which are cleverly separated into six vertical strips. The strips can be individually flipped to one side or the other, allowing for clothing changes on the animals drawn inside. This unique book was patented Jan. 15, 1907. Exact measurements vary by version, approx. 6-in. x 8-in., full color. -
