This item is not in stock at MyComicShop. If you use the "Add to want list" tab to add this issue to your want list, we will email you when it becomes available.

Cover by Joe Kubert. Stories and art by Joe Kubert and Norman Maurer. Numbering continues from One Million Years Ago (1953 St. John) #1. Comics legend Joe Kubert won fans early in his career with his tales of Tor, a caveman struggling for survival in a world where humans co-exist with dinosaurs. Kubert and St. John push the envelope with some of the earliest 3-D comics. Three versions of issue #2 exist; all are called Vol. 1 #2 in the indicia. This version has a 3-D cover, and contents entirely different from #2A and #2B. Bitter over a crippling injury, a member of Tor's tribe takes out his frustration on animals. Tor helps a tribe survive an attack by giants. Danny dreams himself into the past and helps cavemen invent the bow and arrow. Killer-Man; Stop! The Story of Evolution!: Horses, Elephant!; Danny Dreams; Giant-One; The Run Away. Final issue under this title; Tor's adventures continue in Tor (1954 St. John) In the World of 1,000,000 Years Ago #3. 32 pages, B&W with 3-D effects. Cover price $0.25.

GI Jane is part of the WACs (Women's Army Corps), allowing her cartoonists, Hal Seeger and Bill Williams, to combine military humor with plentiful good-girl art. A mix-up with a flirtatious Naval commander gets Jane "promoted" to a WAC officer for a day, which would be great if she could stop acting like a private. Patti and Rita fall asleep on a boat excursion and awaken to find they've drifted out to sea. Even buying a simple raffle ticket becomes a drawn-out process, thanks to Army regulations. Plus the adventures of Sad Sack-like grunt PX (post exchange) Pete. Classic cheesecake cover also makes mention of the 1950s 3-D fad. G.I. Cinderella; G.I. Jealousy; Patti; Red Tape; PX Pete: A Star Is Born; Jill Jones, WAC: Table Talk; The Sarge. 32 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.
