A visual road trip from Route 66 to Route 666, this rockin' collection of more than 600 artworks presents the unapologetically fun and undeniably cool spirit of rockabilly and psychobilly. The 55 artists featured here represent a global subculture and are some of today's best lowbrow and cartoon artists, the de facto styles of the genre. Here you'll see a broad range of stylistic influence from the 1930s to the 1990s as well as other sub-pop cultures like jazz, ska, surf, burlesque, punk, and horror adorning album art, show posters, comics, pin-ups, and more. Complete with a playlist curated by the artists, this is a must-have volume of art by artist who are finding success despite being outsiders.

Cover by John Romita Sr. and John Romita Jr. Introduction by Alex Ross. Afterword by Stan Lee.
Featuring a limited edition wrap-around cover by father and son! John Romita Sr. and John Romita Jr. are two of the most influential artists in the history of comic books, as well as being father and son.
In the late 1960's, John Romita was brought on by Stan Lee to replace original Amazing Spider-Man artist, Steve Ditko, who had left the series. With Lee at the writing helm, Romita continued working on The Amazing Spider-Man, beginning a collaboration that would come to define the look and essence of Spider-Man. A decade later, John Romita Jr. would start his climb towards the top of the business. For most sons, following in the footsteps of a famous father would be quite a challenge, but Romita Jr. thrived and became an equally powerful force as a comic book artist!
Written by Tom Spurgeon, one of North America's best-known experts on the comic strip and comic book art forms, The Romita Legacy is the definitive book on the father and son artists, lavishly illustrated with classic and unseen art and with biographies and in-depth interviews.
Hardcover, 8 1/2-in. x 11-in., 208 pages, PC/PB&W.

Written by Andrewsteven Damsits and Barry Klugerman. Art and cover by Roy G. Krenkel.
Roy G. Krenkel illustrated numerous works by Edgar Rice Burroughs, Robert E. Howard, Lin Carter, and more. But many of Krenkles works-what he calls his "Doodles," in a characteristically self-effacing manner-were rarely seen by even his biggest fans. And while many of Roy's doodles were simple drawings, many were finished illustrations done for the pure pleasure of creating art. Most of the images in this book are published here for the very first time (courtesy of and with the full cooperation of the Krenkel Estate), and nearly all have been painstakingly scanned from the original art (in a manner akin to IDW's Eisner Award-winning Artist's Edition series) with the goal being to showcase Krenkel's gorgeous original art in a way it has never been seen before.
While the realms of science fiction, heroic fantasy, paleontology, and historical reconstruction were particular specialties of Roy's, his pen, brush, and palette knew no boundaries.

Foreword by Daniel W. Wright.
Fungus blooms and dies, bones weather, and moths form halos around dismembered animals in this darkly exquisite collection from acclaimed artist Lauren Marx. With an impressive eye for detail, Marx brings her uncanny subjects to life-or death-with awe-inspiring texture and intensity. Birds, beasts, fish, plants, and more blossom radiantly on the page in their cycle of birth and destruction.
Celebrated artist Lauren Marx's first collection highlights work from her latest gallery show and more, with over 120 pages of full-color art.
Don't miss this stunning hardcover!
