By far the largest comic ever made: 14x21 newspaper size/wraparound cover (bound with six staples). Radian & Goody Bumpkin by Wally Wood. 1,500 individual comic panels in the issue. Art by John Stanley, Lou Fine, George Tufts.

Wham-O-Giant Comics #1 (original cover price 98c). Back in 1967, you could get a LOT of comic for 98c including this, the largest comic ever made--14-in. x 21-in.--with over 1,500 story panels. With a Wally Wood Radian story kicking off this, the only issue, but with still more Wood inside (a Goody Bumpkin story) along with a number of other great adventure strips, this is one cool comic by any standard. NOTE: Irregular stapling: 4 staples off-set from spine onto front cover is normal. Cover price $0.98.

    1st printing.

Over the years, there has been a secret tradition of after-hours passion projects privately created by talented artists responsible for developing stories and visuals for animated motion pictures. In the past, you might never have had a chance to get a book like this (personal, quirky, independent, and creatively unrestricted) unless you were a studio insider.

Now, one of these unofficial, off-the-radar story collections is being quietly offered, and you are invited to partake in this secret society of artistic storytellers and narrative art lovers. From the hearts, minds, and pens of dozens of women and men who work (or have worked) in the Story and Visual Development departments at major animation studios comes an anthology of short stories in graphic novel form that reflects on the question When Is High Moon?

Featuring work by Alisha Gibson, Allen Ostegar, Andy Harkness, Bill Schwab, Brian Kesinger, Brittney Lee, Camille André, Carlos Romero, Carrie Liao, Chris Hubbard, Chris Ure, Dan Abraham, David G. Derrick, Jr., David Pimentel, Don Hall, Donna Lee, Fawn Veerasunthorn, Felix Soto, Griz & Norm, Hillary Bradfield, James Finch, James Woods, Jeff Merghart, Jeff Ranjo, Jeremy Spears, Joe Mateo, John Musker, Kevin Deters, Lissa Treiman, Lorelay Bové, Luis Logam, Manu Arenas, McKenna Harris, Meg Park, Michael Herrera, Mike Gabriel, Nancy Kruse, Neysa Bové, Nick Orsi, Paul Felix, Ryan Green, Samantha Vilfort, Stephanie Rizo, Sunmee Joh, Sylvia Lee and Zane Yarbrough.

Wild Cards Drawing of Cards (2023 Marvel) 1-1ST

    (see more images)

1st printing. Collects Wild Cards: Drawing of Cards (2022 Marvel) #1-4.

Based on the Stories by Howard Waldrop, Roger Zelazny, and George R.R. Martin. Adapted by Paul Cornell. Art by Mike Hawthorne, Enid Balam, Adriano Di Benedetto, and Lee Townsend. Cover by Steve Morris. Additional Material by Kevin Andrew Murphy and Melinda M. Snodgrass.

The sci-fi anthology Wild Cards is given the mighty Marvel treatment!

Beginning with an adaptation of the first two stories in the inaugural "mosaic novel" edited by acclaimed fantasy author George R.R. Martin, brace yourself for an alternate history in which a devastating alien weapon detonated on Earth in the 1940s.

Now, when a human is infected with the alien "Wild Card" virus, the odds are that they will be killed - known as "drawing the black queen." Of those who survive, most become "jokers," left with some strange mutated form. A lucky few are called "aces," gifted with super-powers they can put to use toward heroic goals - or villainous ones.

Prepare to enter a world where you must play the cards you are dealt - and the implications are wild!
