Then ALF talks about his legendary ancestor, King Alfur and the glorious days of Hamelot in "For One Brief Shining Melmoment." And in "Take This Job and Love It," ALF gets a job of selling trees but causes problems when he adds some Melmiracle Gro to the trees.     In 1993, Michael Baker & Marshall Bradford published this promotional Aschan to promote the launch of a their new fanzine/magazine called IT - subtitled The Magazine For People Who Love Comics. It appears the fanzine never got off the ground, making this prototype issue something of an obscure curiosity that probably few have ever actually heard of. Well, now you have heard of it! The front cover features a dynamic infinity drawing of Madman (kicked back and reading a copy of IT) by Mike Allred, who also gives a lengthy interview inside. IT also covers Gladstone/Disney Comics news, reviews of Spawn and the Maxx, and more in this special prototype issue. Measures 5.5 x 8.5, b&w, 50 pages.
