Peter Parker has been feeling very sick in recent days...and he thinks he's losing his spider-powers. So Aunt May's nephew makes a very rash decision -- to reveal his secret identity at Gwen's birthday party! Captain Stacy, Mary Jane, Harry Osborn, and Gwen are stunned by Peter's confession! But Harry recalls that his best friend did something like this once before (way back in Amazing Spider-Man #12). The following day Peter realizes that he's committed a huge blunder. And he enlists the aid of Hobie Brown (aka the Prowler) to convince his friends -- that he's not really Spider-Man. Will Peter's risky gamble pay off? (Notes: The letters page includes letters from comics writer Doug Moench and comics artist Alan Kupperberg, respectively. This issue was reprinted in Marvel Tales #68.) 32 pages. Cover price $0.15.
