In the meantime in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, Warlord Krang and the Viper have seized a Roxxon Oil drilling platform! And their plan is to raise the lost continent of Lemuria -- with help from the Serpent Crown! But before Hugh Jones can commence the operation, Nomad and the Avenging Son arrive in the Pacific! And the deepwater donnybrook begins! Nomad vs. the Viper, Cobra, Eel, Princess Python, and Warlord Krang! Cameo appearances by the Falcon, Roscoe Simons (as Captain America), Nick Fury, Dum Dum Dugan, Sharon Carter, Peggy Carter, and Gabe Jones. (Notes: Nomad appears next in Avengers 131. The letters page includes a letter from future Captain America writer Mark Gruenwald. This issue completes Sal Buscema's excellent 3-year run as the penciler of the Captain America series.
