But the amazing one needs to boost his bank account first. So the Daily Bugle sends him on an assignment to cover a prison riot at the city jail. Once the web-slinger quells the riot (and takes pictures), he surprisingly bumps into the host of the Tonight Show! Is Spider-Man primed for late night? Cameo appearances by J. Jonah Jameson, Joe Robertson, Johnny Carson, and Ed McMahon. (Note: This issue was reprinted in Marvel Tales #80.) 32 pages. Cover price $0.15.
