Volume 1 - 1st printing. "September 1940-December 1941/July 1941!" Collects Silver Streak Comics (1939-1946) #6-17 and Daredevil Comics (1941-1949 Lev Gleason) [Daredevil Battles Hitler] #1. Cover by Jack Cole. Daredevil is a fictional superhero created by Jack Binder. As a child, Bart Hill was witness to his parents' brutal murder. The murderer also branded Bart with a hot iron, leaving a boomerang-shaped scar on the left side of his chest. This traumatic experience left the boy mute. He trained his entire life in the art of the boomerang, eventually becoming a master boomerang marksman. He then donned a costume and took to the streets as the vigilante crime-fighter known as Daredevil. However... for Bart Hill/Daredevil's second appearance showed him able to speak and it was later revealed that his parents were killed while in Australia, with Bart then raised by a tribe of aborigines who taught him the art of using boomerangs. As an adult, he returned to the U.S. and fought crime as Daredevil. Lev Gleason launched Daredevil's own comic with Daredevil Battles Hitler #1 (July 1941), in which Daredevil and other Silver Streak heroes fought the German chancellor. It was written and partially drawn by Charles Biro, who in his 16-year run would make the character one of the most acclaimed of the Golden Age. Hardcover, 184 pages, full color. Cover price $52.99.

1st printing. Based on the Story by Kahlil Gibran. Adapted by Zeina Abirached. Kahlil Gibran is the third bestselling poet of all time, behind Shakespeare and Laozi. His masterpiece, The Prophet, is one of the most beloved classics ever to be published. It sold over 9 million copies in the US alone and was translated into over 100 languages. Now his 1923 inspirational book is brought to life as a richly illustrated graphic novel. The night before embarking on a long journey which will take him back to his homeland, the young Almustafa, "the chosen and loved," responds to questions from residents of the city of Orphalese. Among them, he particularly addresses the Prophetess Almitra, who is keen to learn his teachings and wisdom on the big questions of human life: love, friendship, talent, self-awareness, time, good and evil, reason and passion, beauty and pleasure, suffering-everything including death. In this philosophical and spiritual narrative, reproduced here in its full text, Zeina Abirached creates a graphic novel full of light and shadows, exploring the most lyrical images to the most conceptual passages. Hardcover, 7-in. x 9-in., 364 pages, B&W. Cover price $35.00.

Volume 1 - 1st printing. "1988-1993!" By Tom Salinsky. RED DWARF is virtually unique among British sitcoms. It began in 1988 and was still releasing new episodes in 2020, making it one of the longest running sitcoms of all time. Yet, this is a show which nobody wanted to make, and which only barely made it to our screens at all. Tom Salinsky looks at exactly how it came to be; who was considered for the cast but didn't make it; how it was radically reinvented for the third, sixth, seventh, ninth and tenth seasons; how it survived the breakup of its key creative partnership, the loss of the original spaceship models, BBC strikes, the departure of a major cast member, and the seemingly self-defeating rules which the writers imposed on themselves. But this isn't just a behind-the-scenes account. It's also a detailed critical analysis, examining why the best episodes succeed and why the less impressive episodes struggle. Hardcover, 6-in. x 9-in., 192 pages, full color. Cover price $34.95.

1st printing. Based on the little known real life "Slave Insurrection" of 1741, this book imagines outlaw fugitive John Gwin and an eclectic crew of renegades as they attempt to disrupt and overthrow the colonial social order. Featuring an eclectic crew of African-American, Irish, and mixed race Hispanic sailors, soldiers, and renegades, Gwin and his band are determined to capture New York City in their own names and fight the higher class "wigs and ruffles" wearing white people. Unfortunately for the conspirators, suspicions about an uprising were already in the minds of the Governor and his fellow elites, and the events that followed change the course of everyone's lives forever. This book provides a fly-on-the-wall view of a historical event reimagined, highlighting cooperation among races and classes that transcends the social order of its time-and inspire us today.
