    The Knicker, November 1927 issue, is a promotional comic book for clothing company that sells knickers for boys and revolves around a fictional spokesperson, a boy named Tim (also appeared in promotional comics for Buster Brown and Superman-Tim). The artist for this comic may have been associated with the Walt Disney company as well. Early issues were sub-titled "The Boys' Own Magazine" while the "Official for Pie Eaters" slogan (apparently referred to a now obscure, but one-time "hip," bit of slang) was added later. The back cover has an ad by the Missoula Mercantile Co. for Tim's Official "Perfection Suit" priced at $16.50. 4-in. x 7-in 8 pages B&W.

The sub title, "Official for Pie Eaters," apparently refers to a now obscure, but one-time "hip," bit of slang. On page eight, Uncle Sam asks Tim for help to fly a Pacific-to-Atlantic airmail flight to deliver the mail. The regular pilot is sick from fright on account of the ghosts. Unfortunately, Tim wrote down how the story turns ends in secret code. So unless you also get your hands on the code book - see Tim's Official Handbook (1933), good luck deciphering the story Tim wrote. But not to worry, the other pages are perfectly readable. The back cover features a Levy Bros. ad for a boy's Palm Beach Suit (just $8.50). 12 pages, black and white, mini comic-sized.
