Casper and the Friendly Dentist (1967) is a promotional comic distributed by the American Dental Association and published by Harvey Comics. Casper comes to the aid of a dentist who has two children as patients. They discuss their baby teeth and how adult teeth will follow. Brushing and proper eating habits are among the items discussed. NOTE: The majority of these issues display a minor printing defect that resembles soiling or ink transfer.

The inside of the brochure explains the advantages of using the system, the one-inch color coded stripe being added to the top of every page of a comic magazine, and how the process works to simplify rotating comic stock magazine. The backside provides a handy sample calendar for publishers. Did you know THIS about Pennsylvania (circa 1950's) is a sequel-companion book to "Quaint and Interesting Cartoons about Pennsylvania". Sub-titled "A Second Book of Cartoon Sidelights of the Keystone State". Both are promotional booklet's distributed by the Pennsylvania Department of Commerce. There are 2 or 3 cartoons on each page with some really neat facts about Pennsylvania regarding industry (agriculture, energy, tourism), the people (Pennsylvania Dutch, Quakers etc), the land, historical persona and locations, etc. Some great stuff here. 32 pages, B&W, art and done in the Ripley's Believe It Or Not style of comic art.
