    Volume 1 - 1st printing. Collects The Invincible Iron Man (2008-2012) #1-19.

Written by Matt Fraction. Art and Cover By Salvador Larroca.

Iron Man 2.0 is here - and Tony Stark isn't the one who made him!

Ezekiel Stane is on the scene and fixated on avenging the death of his father, Obadiah. Every bit as ruthless and ten times as smart, the younger Stane is all five of Stark's nightmares rolled into one - and his perversion of Stark's technology into a weapon capable of slaying hundreds of innocents at a time starts the clock ticking on a chess game Iron Man must win! Then, the manhunt is on! As director of S.H.I.E.L.D., Tony Stark had sole possession of a database that contained the secret identities of every registered hero in the country. But now, S.H.I.E.L.D. is no more.

A casualty in the aftermath of the Skrull's Secret Invasion, the international peacekeeping organization has been replaced by the Dark Reign of Norman Osborn and his newly conceived H.A.M.M.E.R. - a less kind, decidedly less gentle remaking of the legendary security force founded by Nick Fury. With Tony Stark in disgrace and on the run, the orders have come down from the highest level to every mercenary, mobster and Osborn minion: "Bring me the head of Tony Stark!"

He's outrun Norman Osborn, and kept the database of superhuman secret identities safe and secure. But in doing so, Tony Stark has lost just about everything: his armor, his power - even his very mind.

Now, at his absolute lowest point, it will take Tony's last reservoir of will - and a band of brothers including Thor, Captain America, War Machine and Black Widow - to keep from losing it all and sow the seeds for a brighter tomorrow. Stark Industries' arms-manufacturing days are over: Tony's new company, Stark Resilient, is bringing modern tech to the masses without bringing innocent people to their knees. But there's a competitor on the scene, a mother/daughter team with a very familiar name ready to pick up the slack with an armor called Detroit Steel. They've started a deadly game of international intrigue that will bring one of Iron Man's deadliest foes back into the fray - but for the Hammer girls, that was merely the opening salvo. With War Machine grounded by the Pentagon, Pepper missing the RT-charged heart that made her Rescue and Tony's Resilient team struggling to put their clean-energy tech into production, they're about to up the ante.

Now, Iron Man's going to find out just what "resilient" really means.

In 1925 the KKK in Indiana counted one third of the state's white population among its ranks. It was seen as a very patriotic, pro-working class organization. However, the case of Madge Oberholtzer would change that forever.

Madge worked for D.C. Stephenson, a powerful politician in Indiana and former KKK Grand Dragon who led a coup dividing the Northern Klan. On March 15th, Stephenson and his henchmen abducted Madge at gunpoint and took her to Chicago, where Stephnson called himself the "law in Indiana" and proceeded to brutally beat and victimize her. Before succumbing to her injuries, Madge provided a full statement of her abuse, exposing the depths of Indiana's political corruption and lay bare the true face of the Ku Klux Klan, a revelation that would have a ripple effect on America's impression of the Klan from that day forward.

By Ken Quattro. Introduction by Stanford W. Carpenter. Afterword by Ken Quattro.

Read about the riveting stories of Black artists who drew, mostly behind the scenes, superhero, horror, and romance comics in the early years of the industry.

The life stories of each man's personal struggles and triumphs are represented as they broke through into a world formerly occupied only by white artists. Using primary source material from World War II-era Black newspapers and magazines, this compelling book profiles pioneers like E.C. Stoner, a descendant of one of George Washington's slaves. Stoner became a renowned fine artist of the Harlem Renaissance. Perhaps more fascinating is Owen Middleton who was sentenced to life in Sing Sing. Then there is Matt Baker, the most revered of the Black artists, whose exquisite art spotlights stunning women and men, and who drew the first groundbreaking Black comic book hero, Vooda!

Gorgeously illustrated with rare examples of each artist's work, including full stories from mainstream comic books to rare titles like All-Negro Comics and Negro Heroes, plus unpublished artist's photos and art.

Invisible Men: The Trailblazing Black Artists of Comic Books features Ken Quattro's over 20 years of impeccable research and writing. The social and cultural environments that formed these extraordinary artists are deftly detailed by Quattro in this must-have book!

Includes profiles of: Adolphus Barreaux Gripon, Elmer Cecil Stoner, Robert Savon Pious, Jay Paul Jackson, Owen Charles Middleton, Elton Clay Fox & George Dewey Lipscomb, Clarence Matthew Baker, Alvin Carl Hollingsworth, Ezra Clyde Jackson, Alfonso Greene, Eugene Bilbrew, Orrin C. Evans, George J. Evans, Jr., John H. Terrell, William H. Smith, Leonard Cooper and Calvin Levi Massey.

    1st printing.

    By Jess Ruliffson.

Candid, compassionate graphic interviews with returning war vets from the battlefields of Afghanistan and Iraq.

Cartoonist Jess Ruliffson spent five years traveling across the country interviewing veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars, from kitchen tables in Georgia and libraries in New York City to dive bars in Mississippi and back porches in Vermont. What she finds is that the real experience of soldiers at war is a far cry from depictions in popular media like Zero Dark Thirty or American Sniper.

In these illustrated interviews, Ruliffson shares the stories of men, women, and non-binary ex-soldiers who struggle to reconcile their wartimeexperiences with their postwar lives. Identity lies at the heart of these stories, as they grapple with their gender, their race, and the brutality they've witnessed and caused.

In this compassionate, probing book, Ruliffson reveals how America's endless entanglement in wars have affected the psyches of the people who wage them.

    Volume 1 - 1st printing. "Wartime Ghetto!"

Written by Jean-David Morvan and Severine Trefouel. Art and cover by David Evrard.

Irena Book One: Wartime Ghetto is a 136-page full color biography that chronicles the life of Irena Sendlerowa. Carefully researched by the creators, this book is truly a work of love. Irena was a member of the Citizen Center for Social Aid during World War II, joined the resistance, and saved over 2500 children from the hell of Nazi-Occupied Warsaw Ghetto. The artwork by David Evrard invokes an innocence and charm that serves as a stark juxtaposition to the tense and perilous moments the story provides. This book is a must have for admirers of Irena Sendlerowa's extraordinary life and those looking to learn more about the Jewish experience during World War II.

Irena Sendlerowa was born in 1910 in Otwock, a small town in central Poland. Irena was 29 years old when the Germans invaded Poland. The Germans soon gathered all the Jews in Warsaw into a small portion of the city that became known as the Warsaw Ghetto. The ghetto's prison-like conditions led to thousands of deaths every month from starvation and disease. As a non-Jewish social worker, Irena was one of few outsiders allowed to enter thanks to a permit authorizing her to check the grounds for typhus and to help contain the disease from spreading outside the ghetto.

Slowly and carefully, she and a group of friends began sneaking children out of the ghetto, giving them new identities and temporary families. She wrote down each child's original name, new name, and new address on a small slip of paper and buried the papers in glass jars in hopes of reuniting the children with their parents once the German occupation had ended.

Her story was embraced worldwide in 1999 with a celebrated play and television movie bringing global awareness to her bravery. She was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in both 2007 and 2008, and has earned countless other commendations and praise.

She passed away on May 12th, 2008 at the age of 98.

    Hardcover, 8 1/2-in. x 11-in., 136 pages, full color.

Political events accelerate, and her letters to Howard are returned unopened. It will be 30 years until she receives another.
