All three pop-ups are dynamic, well constructed and in vivid full color across two pages each. The three pop-ups are drawn by Stephen Slesinger. The pop-up featuring the crocodile is especially terrific: Tarzan is astride the crocodile's head holding a knife and moving the book opens and closes the mouth of the crocodile. The main story is illustrated in black and white by Slesinger, who provides two illustrations per page. A charming production, very well done. Scarce. 8-in. x 9 1/4-in., 22 pages plus three pop-ups, B&W with the pop-ups in color.
