Capt. Biljo Comics was published during the Golden Age of comic book fanzines by William J. White, a prominent fan who frequently went by the nickname of Biljo White. Captain George's Comic World #23/24 is a 75c cover-priced 64-page giant featuring all Golden Age Timely stories: Sub-Mariner (fighting Nazi robots), Captain America in "The Cobra Ring of Death" with art that is likely by Syd Shores, The Human Torch and Toro, The Patriot, The Vision, and The Angel. 64 page, black and white, newsprint, 7.5 x 10.75. Cover price $0.75.

Special Giant double issue featuring Stanley Pitt's Silver Starr in the Flame World. Stanley Pitt is an Australian artist inspired, like Al Williamson, by Alex Raymond's Flash Gordon. Silver Starr was a comic strip centered on an Australian soldier, Silver, who on his return from the Second World War, joins an expedition to the Earth's interior aboard a rocket-powered vehicle. They discover the incredible Flame World and its ruler, Queen Pristine (Pitt's homage to Raymond's Dale Arden), rescuing her from the evil despot, Tarka (another acknowledgement to Raymond's Ming the Merciless). These newspaper strips ran from November 1946 until November 1948. 7 3/4-in. x 11-in., 80 pages, not stapled, black and white. Cover price $0.60.

Captain George's Comic World #27 features a one page article on Will Eisner together with a reprint of a Spirit story, "Sand Saref," plus a twelve page Russ Manning "Brothers of the Spear" strip, a six page article on underground comics by David Zack titled "Smut for Love, Art, Society," and a four page article, "The Spirit of The Comics," by Joan C.
