Even for a series as unrelentingly bleak as the Walking Dead, Rick and Carl are in a tough spot. Having just barely escaped from Woodbury and the Governor, losing Lori and being separated from their allies in the process, the father and son are on their own. Finding refuge in a mostly walker-free neighborhood, they get a seeming reprieve from the madness- that is until Rick falls ill and Carl is left to figure out how to keep them both alive. Pencil and ink on Image Comics art board. 8 1/2" x 14" NOTE: The second panel is a pasted in stat, though some additional art was done on the stat to change the shading.
