Marvel's 1993 annuals all introduced new characters to the 616, with Doctor Strange encountering Kyllian, a man with mystical tattoos that give him a connection to (and powers from) the Tuatha de Danaan, the Celtic pantheon in the Marvel Universe. In this gorgeous splash page, the gods make themselves known after Strange subdues Kyllian with his cloak. Signed by Isherwood in bottom margin. Pencil and ink on Marvel Comics art board. 11 1/4" x 17 1/4", B&W.
