Peter David's landmark reinvention of X-Factor into a (somewhat) grounded detective series that made it standout from the rest of the line. For the series' 200th anniversary issue, the team moved from Detroit to New York City and took on a heck of a first case- tracking down a missing Sue Storm at the behest of Franklin and Valeria. This of course leads to a classic comic book trope- a misunderstanding leading to some hero vs. hero action! In this case it's Strong Guy taking on The Thing, a fight that gets particularly nasty on this page after Mets-fan Guido brings up the '04 World Series to Ben!
