This piece was likely produced for a proposed tennis and golf-themed calendar that Eisner was shopping around at the time. Additionally, a variation of this piece appeared in Eisner's 2-page 'Remedial Tennis' spread in the July 1977 issue of Esquire. Signed by the artist in the lower right hand corner and the reverse has a Will Eisner Studios, Inc. stamp. Watercolor over printed line art on heavy paper stock affixed to a sheet of heavy board with glue. 14" x 9 1/2".
