In his later years, legendary comics artist George Tuska released three portfolios titled "Shadows, Villains, Good Girls" and his appreciation for the pulp hero is clear in this stunning pinup, likely produced for one of the hard to find portfolios. Tuska's ability to capture figures in motion is in full effect here with the Shadow appearing in complete control as he both fires at his enemy and keeps a firm grip on the damsel in quite a bit of distress.
