    Published Jun 2003 by Marvel.

Cover by Salvador Larroca. Bill Jemas & Andi Watson (w), Salvador Larocca (X-Treme X-Men, ultimate Daredevil and Elektra) is handling the art. THE PRINCE OF ATLANTIS IS BACK! Beneath the waves, well out of sight from human land dwellers, lies the undersea empire of Atlantis, and its heir is a young hero who yearns for the world above water even as he struggles to maintain his undersea birthright. Salvador Larroca brings the exotic undersea world of young Prince Namor to life in all of its lush and delicate splendor, and writers Bill Jemas (ORIGIN, ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN) and Andi Watson (BREAKFAST AFTER NOON) weave a romantic tale of a young hero who finds love above the waves while gradually coming to terms with who he is. With superstar artist Salvador Larroca now firmly installed as penciler, and guided by co-writer's Bill Jemas and Andi Watson, NAMOR is poised to be one of 2003's most unexpected, and surprising new titles. And with a cover price of just 25-cents for NAMOR #1, every comic fan can be in on the surprise. "Namor #1 has surpassed everyone's expectations on every level," said editor C.B. Cebulski. "Salva has crafted an undersea world that is mesmerizing to look at. Mixed with Danny Miki's fine inks and J.D. Smith's amazing color palette, Prince Namor's Atlantis kingdom truly comes alive. The characters and action flow off the pages into the hands of the reader. "Bill and Andi have also granted us a wonderful peak into the life of young Namor. Readers see him start as a mischievous young boy and follow him into manhood, giving us a candid look into Namor's youth that rings true with the Sub-Mariner of today that fans know and love. We're drawn into his life in Atlantis and the personal relationships that shaped him into the fiery hero he is today." 32 PGS. WITH ADS (each)/FC/ALL AGES...$0.25! Cover price $0.25.

New Vanguard SC (1993 Osprey Military) 77-1ST

Volume 77 - 1st printing. "M24 Chaffee Light Tank 1943–85!" Written by Steven J Zaloga. Art by Jim Laurier. The history of US light tanks during World War II is a chequered one. The Light Battalions of US Armored Divisions were initially filled with M3A1 and M5 Stuart tanks, however, on the battlefields of North Africa it was realised that these were disastrously under armoured and gunned, and a replacement, or the abandonment of light tank doctrine, was desperately needed. It wasn't until the last few months of WWII that the M24 Chaffee came into service and it was extensively used in combat from the Battle of the Bulge to the final campaigns in Germany. This book will trace the history of this design, its combat record in World War II, its many variants, and its extensive combat record post 1945. Softcover, 48 pages, PC/PB&W. Cover price $17.95.
