Guilty of murder, an executioner is ordered to behead himself, in a story written by future DC legend Carmine Infantino, with art by comics legend Joe Kubert. Dr. Savant follows the rites of human sacrifice on Genero, until he encounters the monster called Octeel, in a story with art by future Marvel artist George Tuska. Robert MacCloran returns to his ancestral lands to claim his birthright, but not if his evil uncle has his way, in a story with early art by future Flash Gordon artist Dan Barry. Plus a one-pager by Everett Raymond Kinstler. Awesome octopus-fight cover by Norman Saunders. Windy and Whitey are the dimwittest privates in the Army, as previously seen in the back pages of GI Joe (1951 Ziff Davis). On an overnight hike, Windy and Whitey have trouble putting their tent up, and that's just for starters. Windy and Whitey decide they can get out of the Army if they marry mail-order sweethearts, but the plan backfires in a big way. Sgt. Gruff regrets the day he made Windy and Whitey the new tank crew.
