Tarzan saves Tantor the elephant from the pit trap the Mbonga tribe built. But when Tarzan falls in the pit himself, Tantor must take action, in a story with art by comics legend Sam Glanzman. In a tale of Tarzan's early life, he battles Sheeta the panther to earn his place in the ape tribe. Plus guides to the animals of Tarzan's jungle (including dinosaurs!) and his life in the jungle.
