"The Moment of--the Man-Slayer!", script by Arnold Drake, pencils by Dick Ayers, inks by Syd Shores; Endowed with new powers by the god known as Zo, Mar-Vell visits the dead body of Una one last time before returning to Earth space; He taunts Yon-Rogg with images of himself alive before returning to Earth to tie up his loose ends as "Walter Lawson", when he arrives in his office he finds that the Cape is about to launch a rocket; Arriving at the Cape as "Lawson", Mar-Vell is put at gun-point and is under suspicion of spying due to his long absence. But before he can be taken into custody, the Man-Slayer, a robot created by Communists attacks the Cape; As Mar-Vell uses his illusion casting powers to distract the soldiers to get away and change into Captain Marvel, in Russia, the Black Widow breaks into the control room of the Communist leader who is controlling the Man-Slayer in an attempt to stop the attack from its source; However, before she can stop the leader, she is knocked out. 36 pgs., full color.

"Traitors or Heroes?", script by Gary Friedrich, pencils by Frank Springer, inks by Vince Colletta; Mar-Vell has returned to his apartment to try and establish a new civilian guise, however when the Man-Slayer reactivates under its own power, Mar-Vell returns to fight off the confused android; However, the robots proves too strong, and decides to escape with his teleportation powers; Teleporting into space, Mar-Vell sees the Kree ship being restocked by a supply ship, and uses the opportunity that the Kree ships shields are down to board the ship and confront Yon-Rogg; Mar-Vell manages to injure Yon-Rogg but is forced to return to Earth when he realizes that the Man-Slayer is threatening Carol's life. 36 pgs., full color.

"When a Galaxy Beckons," script by Gary Friedrich, pencils by Frank Springer, inks by Vince Colletta; Held at gun point at the Cape for treason charges, Mar-Vel trys to figure out what to do while Carol tries to appear for Mar-Vell's release; While at the same time the Puppet Master--from his island hideout--uses one of his special puppets to take control of Iron Man, part of a plan to aid Egghead against the Avengers (See Avengers #64); Iron Man, in his civilian guise as Tony Stark is on his way to business in Miami, is controlled by the Puppet Master to change into Iron Man and leaves the plane to attack Mar-Vell; The Puppet Master manages to have Iron Man attack Mar-Vell, however the battle ends when unexpectedly when Stark's heart condition causes Stark to have a heart attack; A furious Puppet Master, not knowing why Iron Man no longer response to his command, throws his puppet at the controls causing an explosion that buries the Puppet Master under his machinery. 36 pgs., full color.
