One-shot issue of a comic book version of the long running comic strip Gil Thorp, the coach at Milford High School. Comic has book length story in which Gil Thorp is unexpectedly appointed as the coach of the Milford High School's varsity baseball team and has to contend with uncooperative and spoiled players, an interfering parent, gamblers, and more as he tries to get the team to work together and win. No art/story credits given but Jack Berrill, the creator, writer, and artist of the Gil Thorp comic strip had nothing to do with the comic nor was it sanctioned by the Chicago Tribune Syndicate which owns Gil Thorp.
