Cover by John Buscema. Stories and art by John Buscema, Bill Woolfolk, Ed Robbins and Mort Leav. A post-war, pre-Code romance comic from pioneering female publisher Rae Herman of Orbit-Wanted (who doubled as Love Diary's advice columnist, Ray Mann). Jan swears she'll never love again, but then she meets Peter at a New Year's party, in an early story (and cover) by future Marvel and Conan legend John Buscema. Buscema also drew the Prescription for Happiness story, in which Gertrude asks for advice from "Ray Mann" on dealing with Jack's gambling addiction. Sheila's doomsayer persona drives away boyfriend Guy, until a flood crisis forces her to make a choice. Stars in her Eyes; Make Way for Love; Prescription for Happiness; Calamity Jane! 32 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.
