Amazing art! Delightful reading! says Buddy Saunders, Lone Star Comics owner. THE SUNDAY FUNNIES Vol. 1 recaptures in full color the magic of Sunday comic sections when they were a full 16"x22" and each strip occupied a full page. On eBay full-size Sunday page sections sell for $10 or more each, but Sunday Funnies brings you 96 pages for just 31c per page! A deal this good is hard to find anywhere! Baby Blues transcends the comic page by fusing the award-winning imaginations of Rick Kirkman and Jerry Scott with familiar family life. Kirkman and Scott intuitively balance the humorous with the poignant through relatable and sometimes all-too-familiar parenting scenes.
This latest collection includes a year's worth of strips, many with commentary by Jerry and Rick.

Published Aug 2008 by Abrams Books.$8.99
1st printing. By Al Jaffee. Tall Tales was an innovative newspaper strip syndicated internationally by the New York Herald Tribune from 1957-1963. Whereas newspaper strips are square, single-panel, or multiple-panel horizontal gag cartoons, Al Jaffee, known for the Fold-In in MAD Magazine, once again altered the format of his work to create a vertical strip - the first, and last, in newspaper history. Tall Tales contains the best 120 wordless strips out of over 2,200, scanned from the original files. The book features a new preface by Jaffee and an introduction by Stephen Colbert of Comedy Central's The Colbert Report. Hardcover, 4 1/2-in. x 9-in., 128 pages, B&W. NOTE: In 2016, AL JAFFEE was recognized by Guinness Book of World Records for the world record for Longest Career as a Comics Artist. A record of 73 years and three months. - Odinson, Lone Star Comic Archivist Cover price $14.95.
