Celebrate Blacksad's twentieth year with this comprehensive volume featuring five of the biggest cases.
Blacksad is constantly up to his ears in trouble. Sticking his nose into mystery after mystery, often getting involved with women almost as dangerous as the criminals he thwarts. Be it solving the murder of a famous actress or keeping nuclear weapons out of terrorist hands, Blacksad's grim work often provides a mirror for real world conflict and human issues, never turning a blind eye to racism, political tensions, or brutally sudden violence.
o This series has won nearly a dozen prestigious awards along with praise from comics' most highly esteemed creators including Stan Lee, Will Eisner, and Jim Steranko.
o Now a video game from Pendulo Studios!
Features new materials never published in English. Blacksad: The Complete Stories collects story pages from Blacksad, Blacksad: A Silent Hell, and Blacksad: Amarillo.

1st printing. Written by Julie Maroh and David Homel. Art and cover by Julie Maroh. Set in the languid, European-like neighborhoods of Montreal, Body Music is a beautiful and moving meditation on love and desire as expressed in their many different forms - between women, men, and gender non-conformists alike, all varying in age and race. In twenty separate vignettes, Maroh explores the drama inherent in relationships at different stages: the electricity of initial attraction, the elation of falling in love, the trauma of breaking up, the sweet comfort of a long-standing romance. Anyone who's ever been in a relationship will see themselves in these intimate stories tinged with raw emotion. Body Music is an exhilarating and passionate graphic novel about what it means to fall in love, and what it means to be alive. Softcover, 300 pages, full color. Cover price $26.95.

The Book of Weirdo is the definitive and hugely entertaining examination of WEIRDO magazine, renowned underground comix cartoonist Robert Crumb's legendary humor comics anthology, which was originally published throughout the 1980s. A "low-brow" counterpoint to Art Spiegelman and Francoise Mouley's rather high-faluttin' RAW comix publication, WEIRDO influenced an entire generation of alternative and neo-underground artists.
This hardcover anthology features the complete story of the well-recalled comics magazine, along with testimonials from over 130 of the publication's contributors and interviews with WEIRDO's three editors: R. "Keep On Truckin'" Crumb, Peter "Hate" Bagge, and Aline "The Bunch" Kominsky-Crumb.

1st printing.
By Art Spiegelman.
The creator of the Pulitzer Prize-winning Maus explores the comics form - and how it formed him!
This book opens with Portrait of the Artist as a Young %@&*!, creating vignettes of the people, events, and comics that shaped Art Spiegelman. It traces the artist's evolution from a MAD-comics obsessed boy in Rego Park, Queens, to a neurotic adult examining the effect of his parents' memories of Auschwitz on his own son.
The second part presents a fascimile of Breakdowns, the long-sought-after collection of the artist's comics of the 1970s. Breakdowns established the mode of formally sophisticated comics that transformed the medium, and includes the prototype for Maus. Pulling all this together is an illustrated essay that looks at the sixties as the artist pushes sixty, and explains the obsessions that brought these works into being.
Poignant, funny, complex, and innovative, Breakdowns alters the terms of what can be accomplished in a memoir.
Hardcover, 10-in. x 14-in., 72 pages, PC/PB&W. Mature Readers

By Art Spiegelman.
Now in paperback from the creator of Maus, a completely original autobiography, the story of his life as a comix artist.
Breakdowns is the chronicle of Spiegelman's story, featuring vignettes of the people, events, and comics that shaped him. It is told in three ways-in 20 pages of comix that give us the story of his rebellious adolescence, a section on the work he did in the 1970s as an underground comix artist (this book brings back into circulation-and restores-the work of his first book, Breakdowns, out of print for 30 years), and an 8-page essay in which Art looks at the role of comics in the 1970s and how, in ways he didn't understand until much later, it was already coalescing into a medium whose resurgence now is evident everywhere.

Z2 Comics celebrates the most crucial indie album of the new millennium with Broken Social Scene: You Forgot It in People, The Graphic Novel. Paralleling the confluence that led a community of Toronto musicians to craft a winding audio epiphany, this project unites one writer and and 13 artists to create a series of intertwining vignettes inspired by the 2003 record, You Forgot It in People, on its 20th anniversary.
Overseen by Broken Social Scene's Justin Peroff and Brendan Canning, writer Lonnie Nadler (X-Men, Black Stars Above) joins Eric Orchard, Scott Chantler, Ray Fawkes, Mike Feehan, Diana Nguyen, and more artists to be announced for a fully Canadian sequential art jam session.
Within these pages, a collection of seemingly disparate strangers' lives weave in and out each others' orbits, touched equally by the mundane and unexplainable. The meta of music and people and ideas harmonizing together shifts to a new medium for this touching and ambitious graphic novel.

Reading these thirteen exceptional stories is an experience similar to appreciating a touching poem or watching a series of stills from a silent movie. Combining the traits of different artistic genres, O has indeed created his own world of comic art. While eloquently presenting a universal human experience, O also brings a delightful and exotic insight into Korean society. Softcover, 6-in. x 9-in., 272 pages, B&W. Cover price $19.95.
