Synopsis |
Peter is floored by MJ's revelation that she knows he is Spider-Man; As he tries to figure out what to say, the Black Cat shows up at his pad and MJ takes off; Exhausted by his emotional problems, Peter drifts off to sleep and his new costume takes him for a spin around the city; Unaware of his midnight web slinging, Peter has a nightmare about his black costume; When he awakens, he decides it is high time to take it over to the Baxter Building and have Mr. Fantastic check it out; Reed Richards discovers that Spider-Man's black costume is a living alien that is trying to bond with him symbiotically; Reed uses a sonic blaster to separate Spidey from his costume and traps it in a containment vessel; With no costume handy, Spidey swings home in an old FF uniform with a paper bag for a mask but he gets caught on a news camera when he takes time out to stop a crime; Tired and humiliated, Peter is still relieved when MJ drops by for a heart to heart; Hobgoblin has a little proposition for the Rose. |
