Synopsis | It is 1891 and Nathanial Essex, the future Mr. Sinister, has turned the Courier into a puddle of goo; Gambit is forced to serve his future master as he tries to restore Jacob back to humanity; As Jacob was in female form when Essex zapped him, he is accidentally brought back as a woman and finds he can no longer use his powers of shape shifting (and isn't too thrilled with the prospects of living life as a girl permanently); Gambit, Courier and Essex head to Egypt where Jacques and the Thieves Guild have invaded the lair of Ozymandias and are in the process of stealing the secrets of En Sabah Nur (read: Apocalypse) for Candra; Gambit rescues the Guild while Sinister, now with the morphing powers he has taken from Jacob, battles Candra and turns her over to her fellow Externals. |
