Synopsis | An unseen figure attacks the Time Trapper in Earth's distant future. In the present, in Gotham City, a young and healthy Batgirl stops the Joker, but does not recognize Batman's junior partner, Robin, while from above another Robin watches. The Linear Men notice that the universe is ceasing to exist, from the end of time backwards. They seek out The Flash in the 64th century and find him facing a rift destroying the universe in that time. They suggest The Flash try to create a vortex to make the rift collapse, but he fails and all that remains of him is his costume. Back in the present, Batman summons Superman to discuss the time anomolies and Metron arrives. In 5700 AD, Waverider and Rip Hunter find Green Lantern Hal Jordan, in his role as Pol Manning, fighting the same rift The Flash fought. Hunter and Green Lantern are lost to the rift, but Waverider survives. Back in the present on Earth, while Superman and Metron use the power of Green Lantern Kyle Rayner to summon the superhero community, Hawkman, as he fights Vandal Savage, seems to splinter into all of the several versions of the character. The rest of the JSA joins Hawkman and Vandal Savage disappears. Waverider arrives with Wally's costume, having learned of the original Crisis, and Jay assumes the worst. Back at Vanishing Point, Extant has overcome the remaining Linear Men. |
