Synopsis | Police scientist Barry Allen is working late in his lab one stormy night when a freak lightning bolt strikes a rack of chemicals, bathing him in them. Shaken but otherwise apparently unharmed, he quickly discovers that he can run fast and react faster than the eye can see. Taking inspiration from a comic book starring the Golden Age Flash, Barry decides to use his powers to help humanity, and becomes the new Flash. |
