Synopsis | After interrogating the Shroud, Ms. Marvel and Wonder Man take Arana on her first field mission to Denver where they encounter the fugitive heroine, Julia Carpenter (Arachne) who chooses to fight Ms. Marvel rather than be taken in. After the battle Julia is defeated and her daughter, Rachel is taken from her. Upon witnessing this, Arana questions whether or not what they are doing is right or wrong. |

Arachne (Julia Carpenter) was the second heroine to call herself Spider-Woman, but since Jessica Drew had returned as the original Spider-Woman, she began calling herself, Arachne. On the cliffhanger splash page, the costume Rogue is wearing this issue is different than the one she is wearing the next issue, even though it is the same scene that is carried over to the next issue. |
