Synopsis | Our cast of heroes and villains each find themselves in their respective gigantic space ships trying to figure out how they got there and what is going on; They witness the end of a galaxy and the creation of Battleworld; Ultron attacks the other baddies and is snuffed out by Galactus; The voice of the otherworldy Beyonder tells them that their goal is to defeat their enemies and their wildest dreams will come true; Galactus and Doom immediately fly off to confront the Beyonder but are repulsed as if they were no more than gnats; The heroes are transported to the planet and immediately turn on Magneto who has been inexplicably counted among their number; They choose Cap to lead them; The villains are also moved to Battleworld and Doom tries to reason with them concerning the Beyonder's wishes; When no one is willing to listen, he flies off to talk to Reed but is shot down by Kang; The heroes reach Doom but mistrust him and get blasted; The rest of the villains arrive and the Secret War begins. |
