Synopsis | Lily Belle, after coming north to the big city, wants badly to become a torch singer, but her boyfriend, Homer, tells her instead to marry him and he'll provide for her. She refuses and Homer is heartbroken, is later kidnapped and when his uncle, a wealthy businessman, is killed [by the kidnappers], he is blamed for it. Lilly decides to be like Miss Masque and investigate the crime---and she, too, gets kidnapped. |
