Notes | Painted Cover; Marvel PSR+; EDITOR'S COMMENT: In painting their uber-babe covers for this series, first Greg Horn and now Mike Mayhew obviously use different girls for photo reference and don't appear to be talented enough to make the features consistent from cover to cover. Thus, Elektra has had a wide variety of body types, bone structures and facial features throughout this series. I only bring this up now as this cover is probably the most blatant example, being a pretty dead on representation of porn star Aria Giovanni in an Elektra costume. Don't ask me how I know that, just take my word that the covers for this series, while often striking, suffer much from lack of consistency. |
