Synopsis | Cleopatra Vance, a member of the Famous Names Club, asks the Torch for help because she thinks that Nathan Hale is going to be hanged. Torch and Toro head over to the address that she provides and they find a body. Leaving the scene is a hired criminal known as the Turtle. After Lincoln is shot by the Turtle, Cleopatra tells Torch that Julius Caesar must be the killer since she and he are the only two members left, and the last surviving member is beneficiary of investments the club has made. After Toro is slugged, and Nathan Hale's body disappears, Torch suspects Hale of attempting to throw off suspicion and apprehends both him and the Turtle when the latter tries to assassinate Caesar. |
