Synopsis | Flash meets Winky, Blinky and Noddy while visiting the Cumberly Horse Farm with Joan. Joan's friend Trudy owns a horse named "Short Shanks", a very fast horse that shows little promise of racing fame....until a mysterious fire and sale of the horse at public auction. |

Synopsis | A blacksmith buys the horse and discovers that the horse has one leg shorter than the others, so he constructs special shoes that allow the horse a chance to become a champion. Meanwhile, the Flash discovers that the Three Dimwits have a photo in their possession showing the guilty party who set the fire at the horse farm: Trudy! |
