Characters | Space Ranger; Myra Mason; Cryll; Jewel-Men |
Synopsis | When the Jewel Men land on Mars and seize large quantities of selenite, Space Ranger goes into action. Knowing that there are large quantities of selenite at Mars Harbor, Space Ranger heads there and confronts a cadre of the Jewel Men. Space Ranger goes through all of his arsenal, having some success with a sound beam that destroys a few of the Jewel Men. To distract the Ranger, the Jewel Men threaten his ship and Myra, and escape in the confusion. Cryll had been ineffective during the fight because of a coating of ammonia on the Jewel Men, which gives the Space Ranger a clue as to where the Jewel Men are hiding. At their headquarters, as they are pouring the selenite into a large jewel and creating more Jewel Men, Space Ranger gets close enough to the jewel to destroy it, but it sucks him in. Luckily, Cryll hits on the one animal that will save the day, and morphs into a Saturnian Vibro-Deer, whose vibrations destroy the jewel and the jewel men. |
