Characters | Jack Spence; Bart Tedlow |
Synopsis | Jack Spence and Bart Tedlow grow fed up with working on an alligator farm. Spence suggests to Tedlow that they rob a bank in town and get out of town. During the robbery, the alarm is tripped. Tedlow trips and hurts his ankle while running away, but Spence just keeps going, even though Tedlow has the money. The next day, Spence finds no mention of Tedlow in the paper and figures he must have escaped. He decides that he has to get out of town, but Tedlow appears at the tracks. He says that he's not hurt and offers to show him where he buried the money. Back at the alligator farm, Spence digs where Tedlow has pointed, but he is suddenly attacked from behind by an alligator and killed. Two men come upon the scene, and one remarks that this is exactly where they found Bart Tedlow's body last night. |

Synopsis | Pierre Brazo, a lion tamer with the circus, is greeted by his wife after his performance, but Brazo hates his wife, something he makes evident to her, because he thought that she was wealthy when they married. That night, frustrated by Pierre, his wife decides that he must die. The next day, before Pierre's show, his wife asks if he's really taught Suba, the lion, to hate her. He responds in the affirmative. During the performance, as Pierre does his greatest feat, putting his head inside Suba's mouth, the lion begins to kill Pierre.
