Issue | #1 |
Published | February 2007 |
Cover Price | $2.99 |

Notes | Originally intended, as were other New Line Cinema licensed properties, "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and "A Nightmare On Elm St.", as the first issue in an ongoing monthly series but was changed to a series of specials and mini-series following issue #6. This change was to provide retailers with more opportunities to introduce the titles to new readers and allow more freedom for self contained stories and mini story arcs and not be obligated to be on any monthly basis deadline. Suggested for mature readers due to explicit language, gore, violence and nudity. Two covers are available for this issue, a standard Ryan Sook version and a variant version by Tim Bradstreet. |
Characters | Jason Voorhees (Appears on both the standard cover and the variant cover); Unnamed victim (Appears in mirrored image on machete, standard cover only) |
Genre | Horror |
