Synopsis | Scythe continues his rampage while Gravestone recovers at Protectors headquarters. He then appears at Christine's apartment, knowing Scythe will be there soon. Gravestone takes Christine to his underground hideaway. While playing Mozart on an organ, she awakes and hypnotically removes his mask. As he screams at her, Scythe arrives, and Christine realizes ther are 2 Gravestones, the one protecting her and the one responsible for many gruesome murders. Using one of his many collected mystical artifacts in his cave, Gravestone reveals the Head of Medusa to Scythe, transforming him into stone. |

Notes | Like last issue, this one hints that Gravestone may have been the Phantom in Gaston Leroux's book "The Phantom of the Opera." The scene here where Christine removes Gravestone's mask in very similar to the scene where the Phantom's mask is removed. |
