| Synopsis | When Cthulhu comes the whole world will despair. In Damascus during 731 AD Abdul Alhazred hears voices and sees visions. From these he writes the book Al Azif. This book contains information that should never have been recorded so Abdul is cast into The Dreamlands. When he wakes up he finds that he is in The Nameless City imprisoned for writing Al Azif. His tongue is pulled out and then he is killed. A powerful demon comes and takes his body and a tailor to mend it. We then switch to present day where Connor is helping someone search a swamp. The unknown being directs Connor to jump in the swamp and he pulls out Abdul's body. The unknown being then resurrects Abdul, including restoring his ability to speak. He says that Abdul has been returned so that he can pen a new chapter for the Al Azif. This new chapter will tell of an occurrence that will rend the world in twain, the death of a God! |
