Synopsis | Still exploring Taragonia, Nyoka gets separated from Princess Pantha. Thinking she's in a lagoon, Nyoka goes in after her. She encounters a giant squid and saves some mer-women from it. They take her to their underwater city and make her able to breathe water. She re-surfaces to find Princess Pantha and Cave Girl waiting for her and tries to convince them to go back with her to meet the mer-women. Princess Pantha dismisses the story as nitrogen narcosis. |

Synopsis | The Rockwells discover diamonds and prepare to return to America. Majaja men capture Jim and Laura to sacrifice to their were-leopard queen; Freddy escapes and finds Judy, who takes him to Ranger Roberts and goes to rescue his parents. Freddy follows Judy and is captured by the queen, who threatens to kill him with her poison-clawed leopard gloves; she falls on her own glove and dies. Judy rescues Jim and Laura and the Rockwells are reunited. |

Synopsis | Tangi is blamed by animals and humans for the deaths of many animals. Seeking to clear her name, she finds a poisoned pool of water. She is attacked by Jongo, who falls in the pool and dies of the poison. She goes back to the village and confronts the medicine man; the villagers force him to drink the water she has brought, to prove his innocence. He dies. |

Synopsis | A horde of red army ants approaches Taanda's Tauruti village. As they all struggle to fend off the insects, Taanda and Koru discover that the Maoro lured them on their path with scented oils. After defeating the red ants, Taanda and the rest of the Tauruti attack the Maoro, killing most of them and leaving the rest of Capt. Stevens' justice. |
