Synopsis | Carol Stevens takes her son Jacob to the comic book store for comics on his birthday. While there Sysyphyx approaches Jacob while he is alone and tells him that she has a present for him. First he has to ask for it but once he does she gives him a box to open at home. She says it will give him super powers, including the ability to fly. When the boy gets home and opens it he begins to act very aggressively. After a couple of weeks of this aggressive behaviour his father is called home when Jacob is found on the roof of his house saying he can fly. When his dad goes in to yell at him Jacob hits him in the head with his bat. His mother comes home to find the father on the floor with a giant cocoon above his bed. Before she can get help Sysyphyx shows up and uses her body to help birth Gnruk of Vol'Kunast. Gnruk flies off carrying Sysyphyx and Mr. Arkham walks out of the house with a smile on his face. |
