Fritzi was later known as "Aunt Fritzi" in the Nancy comic strip. Phil gets a sky-writer to super-size his Valentine to Fritzi. Phil's dinner is distracted by a floor show of brightly arrayed dancing girls, in a strip that includes some 1940s comic-strip "good girl" art. Finding a fortune in foreign currency he stashed away, "Bathless" Groggins returns to Boomistan. The comic-strip adventures of aspiring model Fritzi Ritz and her boyfriend, the bumbling Phil Fumble. Fritzi was later known as "Aunt Fritzi" in the Nancy comic strip. Fritzi wants Phil to be the target for a game of "William Tell." After Phil insults hypnotist Professor Svengoo, Svengoo makes Phil think he's a goldfish. One of the backup strips in the comic is Charles Schulz's Peanuts, then only in its fourth year; several daily strips are presented in full color.
