    Before Bone is a Signed Limited Edition Paperback Book produced exclusively for the Cartoon Research Library exhibit (located on Ohio State University campus) featuring the best of Jeffs college strips called THORN. It reprints all of the Thorn comic strips in the exhibit and has an introduction by Jeff, a foreword by his colleague Jim Kammerud and an essay by Lucy Shelton Caswell. This paperback was only available exclusively from the OSU library. 10-in. x 8 1/4-in., 56 pages, black and white.
