Meet Woodrow "Bingo" Wilkin III, popular student at Midville High School, who goes steady with girlfriend Samantha Smythe and is also lead vocalist and guitarist in his pop rock group The Bingoes. This humorous teenage series was similar to the Archie series that the same company published. Chapter I: It Takes a Thief, script and pencils by Dick Malmgren, inks by Jon D'Agostino; After Bingo is rushed to the hospital, Samantha meets and falls for his doctor, and signs up as a volunteer. Chapter II: What Are Friends For?, script and pencils by Dick Malmgren, inks by Jon D'Agostino; A jealous nurse, Jessica Jason, tries to frame Samantha for robbery; When that doesn't work, Jessica makes Samantha think Bingo is unfaithful. Chapter III: What's In a Name?, script and pencils by Dick Malmgren, inks by Jon D'Agostino; Samantha is followed home from the hospital by two mysterious, threatening-looking men. Chapter IV: Silence is Golden, script and pencils by Dick Malmgren, inks by Jon D'Agostino; After finding out that the men are undercover cops, Samantha tries to help them catch a crook at the hospital. Chapter 1 – "Good Neighbor Sam," Chapter 2 – "A Friend In Need," Chapter 3 – "Troubled Waters," and Chapter 4 – "To Catch A Thief" are scripted by Dick Malmgren and art by Malmgren and Rudy Lapick.
