Edited by Dez Skinn of Warrior fame, House of Hammer presented comics adaptations and articles based on Hammer Films' legendary horror movies, featuring an array of British comics talent early in their careers. The first issue published by Quality, Dez Skinn's own publishing house, is an all-comics special reprinting some of the Hammer comics adaptations from the previous 23 issues. HoH adapts one of Hammer's strangest films, the martial arts-vampire mashup Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires. British vampire hunter Van Helsing battles vampires in 1900s China. A comics adaptation of Hammer's first hit film, The Quatermass Xperiment, as a scientist tries to convince authorities that a returned astronaut is infected with an alien pathogen that could destroy humanity. Also featuring several of Van Helsing's Terror Tales, EC-style short-shorts with twist endings.
