"Walk Not in the Desert's Sun," script by Gerry Conway, art by Jim Aparo; A strange triangle shape in the sky has appeared over various cities of the world; People are suddenly snapping into violent and anti-social behavior before vanishing without a trace. When the Phantom Stranger hears of a glowing pyramid that has appeared in the Sudan, the Stranger decides to fly there in a plane; There, he meets Lynn Berg who is flying there as well and she agrees to tag along with the Phantom Stranger; When they arrive in the Sudan, they are witness to a bombing in which the intended target is killed. Lynn is suddenly consumed by rage and attacks and murders the attackers before being transported away like the others; Traveling to the glowing pyramid, the Phantom Stranger learns that the leader of this operation is Tannarak, who survived his last encounter with the Stranger when he was saved by the "Gods of Hate", who sought to use him as a tool to gather followers. 36 pgs., full color. "Dr. Zorn: Soul-Master," script by Arnold Drake, art by Gerry Talaoc; When the Phantom Stranger is present when a famous musician goes mad during one of his performances, he follows him to his doctor: Matthew Zorn. Zorn has a very famous clientele including celebrities and military personnel; The Stranger feigns illness so that he can go and see the doctor, and is given one of his special "medicines" which creates a powerful hallucination in which Phantom Stranger is ruler of the world; Shaking off the effects of the drugs, Phantom Stranger decides to investigate further. "The Terror and the Compassion," script by Steve Skeates, art by Bernard Baily; The Spawn of Frankenstein awakens from a dream to find a young woman about to be raped by her date; The Spawn scares the man and woman, and carries the fainted woman to safety; However, the man revives and tries to run down the Spawn, but the monsters strength and durability only ends up wrecking the car and not harming the monster; When the girl revives from her spell, she flees the monster and tries to get away, she ends up running into a cult who wishes to use her as a sacrifice in one of their black masses. 36 pgs., full color.
